Just a quicky as I try to keep up with a few comments....
Found this not so long ago, from a wet and cloudy first visit to Duxford with Rob back in 09.Didn't realise I'd taken this, but then..there are a few more I don't remember either. Here we have 2 of 3 Fokker Dr1 Tri-planes present(pretty sure they're not original).
Hope you like.....thanks for all the great messages and comments re: Uncertain Times...take care and "I'll see you when I se you.."

Wow!...cool shot!..
coyoteviper
cool. Weren't the originals, because of their bright colors referred to as the flying circus, although a deadly group. Not too sure, but think they flew with the famous red baron. I'm sure you might know of them better than I.

Cool, I always loved the look of these things, though i'm sure I would change my mind if one swooped out of the sky with its guns blazing. Great photo.

No, unfortunately not originals mate :-( I am almost sure there are none left flying.. But hell dude, great capture! Better than mine! In fact, I am sure I haven't got any of these at ALL, so credit!!!! Great shot, well done.. Rob

I do remember seeing a photo taken after the end of the war of a load of Fokker D.VII's cut up ready for disposal. A sad sight. This is great capture Neil and even if they are not original it's wondeful to see them in the air :)
T.Rex
Oh, cool! I first thought they were your models in another great Neil render, and then I see... it's a photo of real, flying planes! Says something about your renders, mate! If the red one is the Red Baron, I wonder what the name is of the one in the brown plane? :) Thanks for the post and do take care at your new job! Wishing you all the best! Keep up the good work when you can! :-)

Hi Neil! I'll take a couple of these babies anytime. Looking good.

Really cool Neil. I'd give my eye tooth for a flight in one of those!!!! Great shot and duo no less...I'd consider that a lucky day with the camera! Thanks for the remember.

Excellent capture mate - we don't see many of these about do we?

I envy your opportunity to see so many of those old planes actually flying.

Yeah, I was surprised to discover that this was a photo. Nice snap. Don't think any of those survived the war in flying condition.
