Description

this is a model of how it looked back then as when the civil war the Union camped around oak alley and this would have been head quarters tent here where the big leaders of the union got together to fight the men in gray. this area was taken over in the war by the Union. Not all of Louisiana had fallen into the North side but along the Mississippi River it had fallen. the house in back is the owners house that owns Oak Ally. not much fighting was around here. oh just saw that the flag on the right is a 2nd Louisiana Cavalry Flag here a link to it http://www.pookandpook.com/cat/2010-04-24/1084?xfsid=b2h1u3uvj6re3bjicui2c1o784 here a link that have Louisiana in the Civil war http://www.louisianacivilwar.org/

Nice photo! I admire the people who are re-enacting the civil war, it takes real dedication and effort to do this, and they are truly devotes of history. You've done a good job of capturing not only the tent, but the setting. This is a well-composed scene and the history makes it even more rich. Nice work.

The less fight the better for all. Especially when those who fight are brothers.I know that a great country was born due this war, but so many deaths always is horrible .

The bare minimum my friend And I believe that in this part of the country there are many fanatics. It must be very careful. Well done and good but a great explanatory narration. Bravo again ((5 + +)) Le stricte nécessaire mon ami Et je croie bien que dans ce coin de pays il y a plusieurs fanatiques . Il faut faire très attention . mais bon Beau travail et une narration explicative géniale . Bravo encore ((5++))
