Description

Northern New South Wales Kingscliff Beach must be one of my most favourite - it seems to be endless. Amazing what you can find there, after particular heavy seas, beating the shoreline. All washed up - and lifeless - this beautiful starfish; I turned it over to also see the other side - different colour, pattern and texture ... I'll post some more of my discoveries another day, it was like a treasure-trove, and you will soon see, what I saw - promise! Cheers Brigitte (aka blondeblurr)

I love seeing the look on my scuba students faces the first time they see starfish while on their first exploritory dive. Whether they be the smallest brittle stars or the larger sun stars they are all eyes. Great capture BB!!!

Great textured shots of this pinwheel of the ocean, this denizen of the deep, BB! I'm sure you'll take full advantage of the endless treasure trove at your feet and take remarkable and stellar photos.

Great find. I really like the long, thin delicate curves of it's arms, which are very different from most of the starfish I've seen along the shore here...

A sweel collage Brigitte. I like both POVs and how different the textures are for the top (almost like a snake's skin) and upside down (with a thousand feet). Both are great shots!
