Description
the boardwalk near the west end of the path. As you can see, it is underwater. however, since I was very close to home AND I was wearing my boots, I took the chance and rode through this. taking extreme care not to wander off the path. the water came just about 2 inches above the pedals on the down stroke. so about 2 inches of my pants got damp. Hopefull the water will recede before Friday when I have to go back to work.
thank you for viewing this series. In one respect, I was hoping this would happen and I would be ready for it, as I was today. But when all is said and done, I'd just as soon see the waters stay BELOW the boardwalk.

Ah, maybe this is what I was thinking of. Hopefully it will stop raining long enough to let this all recede by Friday when you have to go back to work.

Okay, now this would freak me out. I would not happily drive through this .. I mean, you know the boardwalk is there, but you can't see it .. and that would be way too weird for me. Of course, what other choice did you have? Turn around, go back, and go home the long way? Nah .. don't think so. I'd have to clench my teeth, and plunge through! Another really terrific shot! Just wondering .. will take the chance Friday, or will you go the long way?

Great Mike!! I would have done it without worry, too. I would face the adventure of the height of the water.... and the piranhas.(As a kid, every time I went to a stream, I watched for the piranhas....although there are no piranhas in my country) Excellent series Mike!
