Description

the boardwalk near the west end of the path. As you can see, it is underwater. however, since I was very close to home AND I was wearing my boots, I took the chance and rode through this. taking extreme care not to wander off the path. the water came just about 2 inches above the pedals on the down stroke. so about 2 inches of my pants got damp. Hopefull the water will recede before Friday when I have to go back to work. thank you for viewing this series. In one respect, I was hoping this would happen and I would be ready for it, as I was today. But when all is said and done, I'd just as soon see the waters stay BELOW the boardwalk. Have a great Thursday Mike thanks for all the views comments and faves

You really have some awesome looking pics. Surprised you don't use them as backgrounds for yourself... Good thing you stayed on the path, otherwise more would have gotten wet!

Nice photo. It looks almost like a pair of rail road tracks. Knowing the path is straight, I'd bike along this, too. The intersting thing is, one doesn't see the "bottom" (path under the surface) in the photo, but can well see it when riding on the bike. The problem is, water over one's pedals, in one's shoes, up one's trowser legs, and COLD water at that! OK when biking home, but not so fun on the way to work or shopping! This photo almost looks like a swamp. Interesting with the reflections - the "upside-down" world in the water. Really nice series. I wonder what this looks like at night. By the way, how wide is that board walk? Keep up the good work and don't get too wet! :-)

I have a fear of large bodies of water and can almost imagine a dark world where this boardwalk ends--but that is also the cool allure of this picture--very cool and imaginative...

this is like seeing light at the end of the.... bridge - lol.... be careful on the bridge, you could slip real easy and if you hit your head... just be careful man... the last time I road a bike was over a year ago, my bike and I was hit by a car leaveing an apartment complex and heading out onto the main street.... I heard her engine, I came almost to a complete stope... I watched her look to the left and then she drove without looking to the right - I was able to jump off my bike... my bike went under her suv.... that was a year and a half ago... today as I walked home from work, the big pine tree that blocked her vision was blown over into the draveway.... That's how windy it was here yesterday - tornado type winds.... I still have the bike, but it's not operable - the gears and chain area got damaged = the bike was lest than two weeks old.
