Description
Not in my garden but at the nature reserve. Some Toad males are so keed to get a mate they grab them before they get to the water. She then has to carry him there. They live on land far more than frogs. They all dash to the pond they where born, to mate, fresh from hibernation.
What a life all sleep and sex!

Fab pic! We had a young male that grabbed my mum's thumb, luckily she was wearing rubber gloves so she could escape his clutches. He was still hanging onto Marigold next day!
