Description

Hello, and thanks so much for viewing my work! And an extra thanks to all of those who take the time to give me feedback. I appreciate any and all support. I hope you enjoy my work. I highly suggest viewing at full size, because the regular view is incredibly reduced. This was originally part of a banner ad I built. I'm really glad I rendered much, much larger than it needed to be, because this was really too much to reduce to banner ad size. This is the part that didn't make it into the banner ad only because it just wasn't as representative of my materials as the five spheres I had in the other part of the image. It's actually the more visually interesting part. The character is an FBM for V4 richardson was kind and generous enough to give to me. She's just beautiful, and I'm sure I'll be showing her off much better than I have here in the future. I'm not so great when I try to make pinupy works. I do better when I don't try and just go with what I like. The base uses the awesome V4 WM rigging put out by the wonderful, talented, and generous people at Poser Place. She's wearing Vanessa by maelwenn, and Wild Hair with the Wild Heart morphs is underneath the painting. The top and panties are by me, and dynamic. After the sim, I took the top back into Blender, gave the edges thickness, and applied a subsurf modifier. I think it looks great, and I'll probably be doing more tricks like that in the future. The stockings are by LLF and from Infamous/Scandalous. I've also made those dynamic. The materials are my Satin and Nylon, though the nylon on the stockings and top are both so matte it's hard to tell. That said, this is a decent example of how my nylon works with lace patterns. The couch and background are also by me. I know, not much, but the background is a little more complex than it seems here, and the couch was really fun to sculpt. The sphere uses some of my Metal, as does the background, and the couch uses my Leather. The inside of the sphere uses a glow material that I'm beginning to work on for my next set. There's also a point light in there, which has some very odd issues. I'm pretty sure I can duplicate them and would report them to Smith Micro if I hadn't had the worst response I've ever had from their customer service in the past. As it is, I'll have to think about it. Again, I hope you enjoyed the image.

Immediately, the first impression: format. Incredibly cool. Then: her smile. THEN: the materials and lighting effects and elegance of pose and then, that look again. At the end of it: it's the look. There is something refreshingly honest about it. I agree with you: she's beautiful... in a unique, interesting, completely different way. She has attitude. This is how your images are: edgy and compelling. I like!

Love that face, she reminds me of a real person I've seen before. The extra steps in Blender on the dynamic clothing really paid off. Completely got rid of the infinitely thin edge look. Great and interesting lighting, and wonderful materials as usual.

;D I thought I saw a few particular lumps in there that looked familiar! I enjoy where you took it. It's honest and finds a strength without pretense. The cloth work is astonishing. The overall comp is properly offset for balance. The eyes seem flat to me. Remember eyes get all the attention (well, mostly). I miss the hard specular glint. The hair (3xV4s) is really great and I'm sure you spent a lot of time there. I'll have to look at it again in pro2012. I would sign this, too.
