Description

One of Terry's favorite subjects, captured 5/12/10, at the beautiful Whittier Narrows Recreation Area in not-so-beautiful South El Monte, California. Much better viewed full size. No, I didn't catch this creature unawares; it had run down a tree and over to me expecting a tasty morsel of some sort. Unfortunately, I didn't have anything to offer it, and with that expression on its face I really felt guilty. This recreation area teems with human-animal social interfacing. The main reason: food...food...wonderful food. Farvel, thankx for popping in, and for any and all favs and NONcritical comments.

Thank you Harry, for the wonderful dedication. Yes, you know I adore my squirrely friends. Such a nice shot of this one....too bad you did not have a peanut to give it.

I've always loved squirrels, my friend, and this one just seems so intelligent, and disappointed in humans .. ;o) Warm regards, from a chilly, damp Glasgow, John.

He does seem quite disappointed in your lack of edibles; still, you got an excellent shot of this quizzical creature. Looks like he's considering going for your throat in retaliation!

A very attentive squirrel Harry - not letting any pedestrian traffic past his tree without putting on his best panhandling look. Great shot my friend!
