Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

What a great image! It's one of the joys of being at the ocean. All that beautiful, pristine, damp sand on which to write!

Well seen.

Hummm. wonder how long this will last? Nice find. Nice to be back. Still taking my time. Aloha

I do wonder at stuff like this: how long it'll last and what remains of it even if the tide washes in and obliterates it. Will there still be very vague indentations or not? I love the poignancy of this shot and the nice, openness it has. Nice work here! I love those bulbous rocks too...they make me think of seals or sea lions for some reason. I think it's because they're so rounded.
