So marvelously open. Brilliant and serene. I love the crisp, clean purity of this image and the sentiment behind it. All-too-often, too many of us forget that we are, indeed, simply taking steps...not necessarily from here to there, but quite simply, taking steps: doing what life demands in its elegant, wordless way...and as long as we do what we do...well...we encounter open space and all of the freedom that it implies. That's how this image strikes me. When one is on a ladder like that, one is often able to pause and go: WOW! What a view!
