Nope, I'm not "celebrating" the Titanic today. I heard enough on the radio about that tragedy yesterday. In fact, I'm suffereing through a very bad cold.
So I decided to tempt you folks a bit with model making! Guess what this is?
It's the recent Revell re-issue of the old Matchbox model of the German Jagdpanther. I bought my first one in Montréal, 1975. If you count the parts, the most are wheels! So, if you're tempted to do some model building, this is an easy one to get started with. My next post will be of the assembled kit. I bought the kit due to a bit nostalgia.
Enjoy!

One of the first I remember building was a BF109e in 1972 and i'd love to take that hobby up again.

Looks like fun Michael. You got me inspired...have just been to YouTube looking at Jagdpanters. There's a nicely restored one that keeps showing up for "Tankfest" each year at Bovington, UK.

Matchbox were late-comers to the model game, never the most detailed, but the inclussion of the diorama base was a great idea that gave them appeal to wargamers.I always loved their U.S Halftrack with Quad .50 mounted on the back.Look forward to seeing this tank killer finished, what paint scheme will you choose???...I wonder. Thanks for the dedi mate, much appreciated.
