My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

It's indeed fascinating and very special to see this wall, and all the shadows. It's a wonderful view and shot, my friend :)

Nice one, Tara. They sure must have put a lot of time and thought to this decorative aspect. Is this the same place you visited a few years back, with a hotel with corn silo rooms, etc...? Very unique, indeed. The light and shadow play with the curvature sure makes this interesting. Glad you took a photo and posted it. And, wishing you and Bill a good time! :-)

Pretty neat paint job, I myself cannot abide home improvements, viz painting walls etc, basically because I am not that good at it. Very interesting and innovative work from both the painter, and the photographer :}

great choices, as usual in your enclosed shots. The choice to include the light at the top (left) is great, as it feels like a sun with all those lines on the wall like its rays shining down. The quality of light in each shadow and stencil is both soft and luminous. And bottoming it out with the excerpt of mirror, etc, is just wonderful. It's an abstract but still very intimate, and the light & luminous feel make it not only inviting but magical. Beautiful work once more, Tara.
