Description

Please zoom for details. In the highlands just outside of Bryce Canyon, southern Utah. One of my collecting sites for my graduate work field studies. Except for the relative paucity of beer, southern Utah is one of my favourite places to be in the world. Previous

I love Bryce Canyon - a spectacular and really kind of magical place. Standing on the canyon rim and looking down is like looking at some huge, ancient abandoned city out of time and fable dusted in a light snow. Wonderful memories in this! Thanks for sharing, Roxy :)

Love the sepia vintage look here - I'm more of a wine drinker myself, but I like blue moon with oranges in it and some red beer like Killians and I love fruity ales. Strongbow is amazing!

I zoomed and I still couldn't find the beer. Oh well, we can't blame Utah because the beauty would be there one way or the other. We feel lucky that it's all in the U.S.

Great photo and very cool rock formations. My oldest brother went to Bryce a few years ago and I've regretted not going with him. He went there and Arches National Park. Luckily my other brother and I have at least visited Sedona and the Grand Canyon. I'll bet you have a lot of very cool photos from those trips. Thanks for sharing.

Definitely a location still on my bucket list..... If I ever get there, I'm sure I'll load up a 1TB drive with photos of this place.. I love the sepia tone - it seems to fit this region and formations. Super shot and postwork, Roxy! I heard rumors that there's a geocache with a cooler of beer buried under the third tree from the left.... wink
