Description

Ain't nature wonderful? Top and bottom shots captured as indicated on the collage, both early in the morning, within close proximity of my semidomesticated domicile. Positively ZOOM worthy. Top foto one of three I posted in a collage last March 9, 2012. The change is rather apparent in the bottom pic. Not a perfect match, POV-wise, but close enough. Cheerybye, thankx for clicking on, and for any and all favs and noncritical comments.

This was a great idea for a collage Harry. It looks so much better with the beautiful green plant fully in bloom

Wow, beautiful way to decorate a wall. Interesting-looking even when dormant.

The traceries of the bare runners is lovely, and with the leaves filling it out it's even more beautiful. Your POV looks right on to me; great captures and collage!

Both captures are interesting in their own merits, barren - for Winter/Spring and lush in Summer/Autumn - what more could you ask for? good to see the two differences ... BB

lol on the difficulty of reproducing an exact pov 2 months later: They're almost exact, so you don't have anything to worry about! (I can see differences, but the differences are slight.) I've tried to reproduce pov's many times, and it was impossible: I think having tripods and exact geographical markings help; but if one's doing it 'on instinct', it never worked for me. Well, this is a close match! I love the bare wall by itself, for all the straggly lines & veins; but when the leaves come in, the wall becomes very rich. A real study in change, and in the switch from bare to lush. And I like the parking bumps/barriers (whatever those are called---the things that stop the car as it parks). They & the guide-lines are a nice counterpoint & detail. Also, the leaves, shot two, end in almost yellow! I'm actually surprised there isn't more green in LA in March, only because you're a warmer climate than up north. But I don't know much about it...Anyway, love the comparison; and these comparisons are, after all, part of what you do here. More of "what photographers should be looking at" in your gallery, harry.
