Hi Guys, I thought I would use one of my Surreal Fantasy backgrounds this time, hope you like it. For the love of the Cheetah - Strong, silent, timid, powerful,beautiful, with the distinctive marking on his face as if tears constantly fall from his beautiful eyes, and somehow this could be, knowing his plight today. Safe he is not, man has made sure of that, let's love him, protect him, keep him safe, so our great grandchildren can admire this superb specimen of a big cat, one of the most beautiful of God's creatures... Overwhelmingly gorgeous work in this rendering, Miss Jane! You've created a reprise of Sheena of the Jungle in this tour de force. Just the folds in the young lady's dress are worth a million. And the cheetah is one of my favorite variety of cats.

It's a sad commentary on mankind that our wildlife is rapidly disappearing. You've created such a magnificent scene around this majestic creature .. you painting is equally magnificent!

a beautiful detailed portrait of the beautiful cat, the detail is beautiful, Jane, and you've surrounded it with enticing folk-tale-like imagery. The vine almost feels like something out of Eden, only there's no snake and the female isn't the temptress but the goddess of the image. The green's a fine contrast to the many yellows of the image. Your flower & ground textures are fascinatingly complex; and the woman stands much like a knowing goddess who doesn't have to budge because she 'owns' this place. I've noticed, in the last year or so, you've really taken to strong palettes in your work, pursuing many different palettes as the subject material demands. And this one is awash in a greenish yellow gold feel; and the pure green & yellow plants at bottom are perfect counterpoint to those hues above. A beautiful 'framing' of the cheetah. And a beautiful image. Jane, I wish you all the best on the tests you recently had, and I hope that the results are great & clear, so you can return to your life without anymore burdens hanging over it. You've been through so much, I wish you great peace & light. Always wonderful to return to your gallery.

This is a wonderful image and beautiful work, Jane. There are so many beautiful animals like this becoming endangered mostly because of humans, but some because of other things. It is our loss and so very sad. Bravo for raising awareness of it.

It is indeed a shane what's happening with animals all over the world, losing their territories and their lives to encriachment and poaching. A strong statement here, Jane, as to why we need to stop their plight. Such a fine piece you've done once again, overwhelming.
