Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

I'm always surprised when I haven't commented on something I so liked of yours. You have this inimitable way of capturing special moments as if they're around all the time. Which means they're around all the time inside of you. The purples here are beautiful. And the mists in the background are magical. As is your composition, as you take a largely water & land based shot and move way back into a final revelation of bright sky. Beautifully composed and beautifully done with hues and mists. And another proof of your love affair with the land you live around and have spent so much time around. And of your inimitable love affair with water, forest and magical times of day...beautiful.
