Description

A capture from my son's 8th grade graduation ceremony. This was definitely toyed with in photoshop. (poster type effect) I can't believe my baby will be in senior high next year. Congrats Matt! We're so proud of you! Onward and Upward from here on out. Thanks for the look as I know I am not present here often. Appreciate the long standing friends/critics who drop in. :-) Jodie

Outstanding postwork in this photo, Jodie. Congratulations in re the graduation from the 8th grade of "your baby," my dear. I bet he doesn't like you calling him that. They grow up so fast. He looks cool in that tie and blue shirt.

(forgive the xtra ebots, we're in brownouts & the power flutters, so commenting's difficult...was knocked off the site several times this week...) A deep congratulations to Matthew and to all of you on his graduation, and I too wish him great inspiration & success in high school/senior high. A lovely capture, he looks like a really respectful and fine looking young man, and the handshake with Dr. Tift (principal?) is beautiful. Your poster-look gave it a very 'present' look, like a great moment plucked out of the whole...Many congratulations, I know how much this means to all of you. And enjoy your vacation! Hope you're seeing the lake in the many gorgeous places along its endless shore, it's not as big as Superior but it's gorgeous, esp north of Milwaukee (Door County, etc). It can get mighty stormy too, like Superior (great for photographs assuming you stay dry). A great year ahead to Matt and the rest of you. And thanks for your visit, I'm glad my still-fledgling photography pleases your eye, I'm still learning! A loving upload for your son.

Congratulations! One of the biggest stepping stones in his coming to adulthood life! Looking sharp and such a proud moment for the family! I like the "toying" and the way you've presented this most special occasion!
