Description
This pair of green parrots were not caged but very happy sitting on this branch in south Miami, Florida. I can’t find any information about green parrots, this size, with the red facial feathers. They were about a 12 inches (30 cm) long. Photo taken April 2012. Still so busy but only about 2 or 3 days behind in my commenting! Do zoom!

Fantastic photo! These little guy are nice and noisy. Here they are common but not this kind but of another species, smaller. I think these are Red Crowned Parrots. http://www.bird-friends.com/BirdPage.php?name=Red-Crowned%20Parrot

There are indeed a flock of wild parrots in London, and also in San Francisco. You don't say if these are someone's pets or wild, but they look quite happy there in the sun. Excellent shot!

Mrs. Davidson's dishwasher quit working so she calls a repairman. Since she has to go to work the next day, she tells him, "I'll leave the key under the mat. Fix the dish-washer, leave the bill on the counter, and I'll mail you the check. Oh, by the way, don't worry about my bulldog; he won't bother you. But, whatever you do, do not, under any circumstances, talk to the parrot!" When the repairman arrives at Mrs. Davidson's apartment the next day, he discovers the biggest and meanest Bull Dog he has ever seen. But just as she said, the dog just lays there on the carpet watching the repairman go about his business. The Parrot, however, drove him nuts the whole time with his incessant yelling, cursing, and name-calling. Finally the repairman couldn't contain himself any longer and yelled, "Shut up, you stupid ugly bird!" To which the parrot replied, "Get him, Spike!"
