Description
In a nod to synchronicity, I put this scene together some weeks ago and three days ago decided to finish it up, it just got out of the render engine after two plus days this morning. I worked on the post side for a bit and then logged on to Rendo...what do I see but Maxidyne's splendid "HMS Westminster " render. Too cool. I guess this could be the counterpart to it. The Argentinian retort so to speak. I didn't attach an Exocet or do them up in warpaint because I didn't know that they'd be countering Maxidyne's Royal Navy. (Check out Maxidyne's very fine render to supply the adversary.)
The Super Etendard ("Battle Flag")...pretty funky looking aircraft made famous because of the Falklands incident, and by the fact the U.S. was punishing Argentina by not supplying parts or replacements for the A4Q Skyhawks(so they went shopping in France!) ...politics...the Super E's did do a bit of damage in their 15 minutes of fame though.
Dessault-Breguet Super Etendard by Promak510 free at sketchup warehouse tweaked.
Pilots came with it, but I think they are by Max Greuter, also free at the warehouse.

Wonderful scene Bill with fine clarity throught. The moody atmosphere is spot on, as is the rough sea. Thanks for the mention of my image as it's very much appreciated, but careful now, I may have to respond with Harriers.

Mixed feelings on the subject matter, not so the image though...excellent!!! 2 DAYS RENDERING!!!! did you go away for the weekend ?, I'd have to or I'd be back and forth to the computer and probably SNAFU the whole thing.....another top drawer presentation Bill.... 10/10++

Well, got to say I'm much with Neil on this.. Torn about the subject matter, (yes, wounds still here, especially as they are saber rattling again!), but, this is a blinder of a Render.. I had to really look to make sure it wasn't a photo.. Great work on that! Rob P.S. Now try your very experienced hand at a Lightning (English Electric).. A guy like you could do wonders.. My attempts have been feeble.. lol Rob

Good render. Etendard is on my to-do list but I though to wait and build some american aircraft first. Some people could think I build french only when Etendard comes just after Mirage F1... :-)

Gee great work on rolling the Etendards across to Vue- and the South Atlantic looks cold and absolutely miserable- excellent atmosphere. Better not be ejecting into THAT.
