Noel Prabhuraj BIO The first time I touched colors I got a spanking! Mum was a school teacher. I was in kindergarten. She had several boxes of colors for distribution to her students. Without knowing I fiddled with all of them and made many pages of, I think, abstract art. No wonder, I got some spanking :) As I grew I discovered I was good at it. Later, I even represented my college in All-India Cultural Competitions and won several prizes -- even though I was only a BSc Botany student. Then, for a brief stint I worked as a commercial artist in a small firm dealing with Cine-ads. Now, of course, I do something else to belong to the land of the living. My first intro to digital art was at Renderosity. I was amazed at what people did. I watched Luc Bianco's work at the Terragen commune. And later, I started experimenting. I think I am still learning -- but its wonderful. I was introduced to fractals by Carolyn (classyladytwo at Terragen). I did a few using Apophysis. But I think my heartbeat is more with Terragen. I use several other tools as well: World Machine 1.25, 3DEM, Wilbur, Terrapainter,CamPath, Stratagen and a whole lot of other plugins. Thanx for visiting my homepage. May the eyefeast you have here satisfy your heart.

Your amazing shots serve to remind us all that the history of many places on this planet is far more ancient and textured than we realize. The images are always beautifully captured and your detailed explanations of them are always excellent.

Ok alida, I will answer your question in my next two images. But usually, these monks either from the Monastery of St George nearby or from another village on route to Jericho. They usually travel by foot wearing black vestment and have their supplies on a donkey with a helper. From the Monastery of St George its not very far, maybe about half an hour.

Cool. This has "leave me alone, I want to live by myself" written all over it.
