Good lawd, five images stitched together in this fabulous image, and I can't even see the seams. The Namib looks deceptively inviting, Dierbaar. And, Happy Birthday, Carin, yet still another RR member born in June. There have been figuratively tonnes of them this month.

I know little of what goes into panos, but I know it's an art in itself, and this feels seamless. It also has a long restive sweep, with that beautiful detail in the foreground mounds, like a bunch of sleeping animals covered in blankets of moss...I love the proportions, the large portion of desert in back, the capture of the mounds near the front, and the large gentle sky above. Full size, this is really restful. You've given so many of the Namib's personalities in your gallery, and I'm grateful having never been there. Sweeping and gentle and so peaceful, and a very sweet dedi for your friend...

Looks so wild and untamed, not used to such naturalism living in crowded London
