Here's looking east through the by now very dirty windows in the Trangle shopping center. This photo corresponds to the view taken Wednesday, July 11, 2011 (see -
http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=2223595&user_id=5273&np&np ).
We see here how far the construction has come compared to the July 2011 panorama.
The floor in this photo is the roof of the upper parking garage. The yellow vertical bars are braces supporting overhanging parts of the ceiling while the cement sets. The open area is the atrium (visible in the architect's view - see
http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=2223933&user_id=5273&np&np ). This photo is looking from the upper left towards the lower right in the architect's view. Once the extension is completed, the wall with this window will be removed and one will be able to walk up the stairs in the photo to the atrium.
The intense white area to the right is the reflection of a spot light behind me. I was unable to get a photo without it. I took some 10 photos of this scene, of which this is the only one wherein one can see what's beyond the window pane. The rest of the photos were either a dirty window pane close-up (thanks to the camera's autofocus) or ruined by the spot light's reflections. It's interesting that the autofocus picked up the dirt on the window pane and decided to focus on it, despite so much of the scene is visible. I wonder if light from the spot light scattering through the dirt confused the camera's autofocus system. This can be something to think about when photographing through windows.
I have a few more photos remaining from June 4 I'll be posting soon.
Enjoy!

It does look alot like a prison going up Michael. I am sure it will trap alot of willing female shoppers within it's confines!

this reminds me the big building sites of the european community in luxembourg in the late 60s early 70s. i was learning plumber (to start with)and i remember first thing on the construction site we looked for was the place to take a dump and make ourselves somewhat comfortable, tools in a barrack /empty room etc..

Dude! Very impressed with the lighting, great atmospherics! Works well... I see where there you get the title from.. lol Super shot and it's amazing that you get in these places! Health and Safety here would have you chained and taken away, never to be seen again! Great shot. Rob

Will probably mean nothing, but I can imagine a scene in the PC game Max Payne starting somewhere around here; superbly atmospheric & evocative for me :)
