Description


I took this photo in Shore Acres State Park, which is located near Coos Bay. This was formerly an estate that belonged to Louis Simpson, a pioneer timber baron & in addition to the dramatic coastline includes 5 acres of formal gardens with a Japanese pond & many beautiful varieties of flowers. The area shown here has some very unusual eroded sandstone formations & I will post a closer look at those tomorrow... Please zoom
