Description
I was looking at the graffiti when this lady and her dog appeared suddenly from the bend of a private lane in a group of condos not far from my apartment. I have no idea why she looks so morose, maybe she's just remembered she forgot something important at home, or she is rehearsing her little speech in view of a disagreable meeting, or she has just had an argument with someone and was the loser. Countless possibilities, indeed, her anger at me possibly included, but she couldn't see me well. Her dog, on the contrary, looks a genial person.
Thanks for your kind comments.

Amazing what everybody else comes up with for a story line, I think she is just a bit in a hurry and you better keep out of her way, or else she run you over! ... ;) BB

The joys of people watching and in your case, watching and shooting. Superb!

What a nice shot. I am so typically me in that the first thing I noticed was the graffiti on the wall behind her, to the left in this shot. And then I noticed her features! WOW! What an intense face. It seems more like something sculpted, something chiseled. There's pride in those features, and I rather like that. I wonder at her expression and overall sense of self. There's something immensely casual about her, and yet there's something immensely stylized as well. I like that contradiction, it opens up so much ambiguity. This is a really fantastic urban and human study!

...è molto probabile che sia arrabbiata con i tessuti che arrivano dalla Cina; ha fatto acquisti all'inizio dell'estate e guarda come sono già ridotti in così poco tempo! LOL! :) Ciao Sandra, il mio è uno scherzo, splendida foto.
