The words you wrote depict a situation which is difficult to imagine here.Where is the relation between religious freedom and healthcare? This is unbelievable !!! I rarely say anything political online, but it seems the health care changes will affect you very differently than it will affect people that are elderly or disabled. This new set up means they will now have to pay for their own wheelchairs, medical beds, or any other medical equipment needs for 13 months before insurance will cover the rest. These are they same people who can barely afford to pay the existing co-pays on their prescriptions, forcing most of them to halve the dosages just to get some of the medicine they require. The same people who are on fixed incomes and can't work and don't have family to help them 90% of the time. This health care bill is one of the most dangerous things to the medical profession and businesses, too. Doctors are not permitted to bill for what procedures truly cost anymore, but a set amount found 'fair' by the insurance gods, nor are they allowed to quit their practices without getting fined huge amounts of money. Money that will never see patients. This will result in fewer people opting to take medicine, meaning, over time, fewer doctors. Businesses will have to cut back on the number of employees they hire, because they will be forced to offer health insurance, as well. In an economy that is still struggling to find jobs for healthy people, let's make sure businesses can't afford to hire them. To add to the issue, people who do not get insurance, people who can afford to pay for their own medical treatment and pay their bills out of pocket, will be fined several hundred dollars, which the amount will go up each year, until they do get insurance. How is this legal or constitutional? Maybe if people didn't just focus on the few seemingly positive aspects of this bill, but looked at it as a whole, they would see just how dangerous this bill is. I don't agree with what most politicians say or do, from any party. I do believe better health care is needed, but this is not the solution. On a nicer note ... lol ... I do like your image ... lol.
