She has left the world behind her and only exists for the moment, for her breath, for her solitude. It seems that the farther I get in completing this series, the more I see myself in the faces I create. Mindfulness -- the practice of being only in the moment -- is something that modern life robs from us. We are constantly pressured to do more, work faster, multitask. True peace, however, can only be found in the solitude of a moment. The past is lost in time. The future is a mystery. All we have is now.
