Description

Using the Fiat "Gina" offering by Pedro Caparros was too much to resist. Besides doing a very nice job on the modeling, the texture work is outstanding. THe "Gina" looks deceptively like a jet aircraft that a "regular guy" might have in his driveway...with a more exotic paint job of course! I also wanted to use some non-glamorous props to see what kind of ambiance I could wring out of them. Mishmash from all corners: Fiat "Gina" by Pedro Caparros free at sharecg "Hi Dear" dude by Max Guenther, retextured and mod. Military BOQ free on sketchup warehouse by Jackclark-Jc3d. Blast deflectors by Tafkah free on Sharecg Memory and records lapse: antenna array, ladders, and tow bars. Concrete apron: Basement project Vue6 Infinite, Photoshop Cs3

Ah...Luftwaffles ;) Wanted to be a pilot in the german Luftwaffe when I had the chance back in 1989...too bad I only had T2 (you need to have T1 for being a Luftwaffe pilot...it´s a measurement of health, abilities...). Actually was to tall ;) No wonder they used Tom Cruise as a TopGun pilot...that little 5ft-dwarf *lol Great render!

Render amazing. You found an appearance of Gina I did not expect. The composition the lighting and reflections are perfect. My first impression was that it was an snapshot real. Thank you very much for the mention.

A good looking model and a fine scene. You've got the ground concrete looking just right Bill, something I always struggle with. Excellent atmo too mate :)

Great picture. The Gina has still a strong fan base in the German aviation enthusiasts scene and there are some restoring these old birds.

Almost passed this by thinking it was a photo... great lighting but its the ever so slight pose of the man leaning forward that got me confused..so very well done Bill.

Excellent. You've got the scene spot on in so many ways. The light and atmosphere is good- though I would probably like the terrain in the background to be more contrasted- is that snow up there?

Fantastic scene. The BOQ looks more like enlisted barracks.
