Oh wow. I really love this piece. It's just gorgeous. Some works just really strike me. I can never really pinpoint why. It's the same with this one. I can tell part of it is her face, and part of it is the motion implied by her hair. It has a very epic feel, but her face's open expression adds a personal tone.
