Description

Blender3D This took several days to complete. What you see here is a single frame of 3,500 total frames, which made up a short movie. As the movie continues, you, the rider within the mine cart, take a trip through the mine and find all kinds of interesting things to look at as the tracks wind their wave through the cavern. One of these images was used in my novel, "Amanda Ackers and The Realm Of The Witches," in the chapter titled: "One Wild Ride." Actually, at the end of this two minute test movie, the mine cart reaches the end of the tracks where they lead over the edge of a cliff. The cart falls, tumbling as it drops, to come to rest on its side far below I had learned a lot building the mines and all the things within it, even flickering lanterns hanging from the beams. However, back in 2010 I loaded the new version of Blender at that time, to tray making the scene again from scratch, but they had changed things around so much, I couldn't even make the tracks like I had! So I gave up on that. The writing over the beam is in Theban, the witches alphabet and says, "Danger." Thanks for taking the time to view this, boy, does it ever bring back memories of joy and frustration in its creation :) UPDATE: Okay, several of you had asked to see the movie. Well, I looked for the completed version, but could only find my FIRST try, so, have a great laugh, it's okay, I just laughed too :) I did this for my grandson when he was very young, so, I'm trying to speak kind of mysteriously… uh, didn't work :) The artwork used in this version is intended for EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY, and in no way was or is, an infringement upon the artwork of the original artist! I simply found some artwork I liked online and used it for my learning Blender. They are still the copyright holders of their work! The longer version had many trips to the sides, where in this version, you can see there may be something there, but this is the simple version. The long version also had you stop, the top of some of the metal or wooden boxes would open, and you could drop inside and be taken to other wondrous places. This version is VERY bad, but, like I said, it's good for a laugh :) To view the short movie, please visit: www.chilipeppercreations.com/themine Once there, you will be asked for a User Name and Password. The User Name is: Glenn The Password is: Glenn You MAY be asked to enter those a SECOND time, dependent upon your system. Once allowed into the site, click on the link that says: themine.index The very strange movie will begin… I hope. Remember, it was done for my grandson as a short test, not as a finished product :-))

Wow what amazing work. This looks and feels like a real mine. The ride would be very interesting and yet a tad scary at the same time. Fantastic colors, lighting, details and atmosphere. Your hard work putting this together is a special bonus to anyone that views it. Congratulations..

Quite amazing! Beautifully composed, to the bend, to where the imagination takes over. I zoomed to relish it the better (now why don't more people do that? There is a nice subsidiary picture on the right side, but there's interest everywhere).
