Description

The Europeade of the Folklore was held in Padova from 11 to 15 July. Born in 1964, it has been held every year for 40 years in a different city of Europe. About 250 groups performed around the city: here is a Bavarian group performing a typical dance in the small square in front of my favourite bar. Here Flavia and me usually go to have a glass of cool Prosecco wine and chips as an aperitif and to read the local paper. That day we couldn't have our usual aperitif because the Hungarians, who had performed before the Bavarians (we missed them) had drained all the bar's wine supply. The Bavarians, however, were busy to drain its beer supply, but they didn't miss a beat of the dance! Thanks for your kind comments.

This is one amazing shot! This also looks incredibly difficult to do. I mean, I never knew that a drummer needed such strong legs, and a drum needed such numb cheeks! The things one learns! This is such a deliciously unexpected shot. Amazing work! Brilliant.

so with all the wine gone and the beer going too... don't tell me you were down to drinking tea or coffee... the horrors... interesting shot... I've seen this dance performed too, makes you wonder how they got the idea to do it at all..
