I love the leathery skin on this little person! The colors are marvelous as is the focus on the young person here. I love the eye color. Also, this is unrelated, but in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine...the Jem'Hadar starships were actually shaped like the rear portions of insect nymphs, right down to the ridged abdominal parts. Funny how that works! I kinda liked the Jem'Hadar, and the Vorta...some of the better races to come out of Star Trek but maybe it's because their ships looked like bug bellies. Anyway...now that I'm done rambling, I'll just sit back and enjoy this photo! I don't think this species likes this side of the pond very much...I've never seen one of these, but I have seen their cousins.

Another perfectly composed and focused insect-upon-flora macro, Andrea! What an embarrassment of riches with all these varied arachnids and insects at your beck and call.

Another super find! Have you trained your dogs to be bug pointers? Or are you always on your knees crawling in the undergrowth? Either way a cracking find and capture!

Great find and capture, Andrea; like Chip, I've only ever seen distant cousins of this fellow here.
