Description

The Doctor never appeared on stage, nor anywhere else someone might gather who he was. These days one had to watch one's steps. The world was in a shambles most places and all sorts of strange aberrations had begun to crop up. Here in the city - or what was left of it they watched and waited for any opportunity, whether it was to beg to be part of the troupe or rob you, perhaps kill you and maybe even worse. Instead, he stood up in the high balcony in the shadows, where no one was allowed. Contrary to popular opinion, Daniella didn't take it upon herself to kick people out - or worse. She watched and waited for the Doctor's signal. She knew exactly who he meant - the drunk in the front row that kept making exceedingly naughty remarks for everyone to hear and trying to get past the cordon and on stage. She'd threatened him once, discharging the prod in his direction. It kept him quiet for about five minutes. Naughty remarks were expected, but this guy was over the top for even that. Smiling wickedly, Daniella came down off the stage. Drunk as he was, he knew he'd overstayed his welcome and started running up the side aisle. Daniella whizzed past him and met him at the door. No one paid attention really. Just another night at Doctor Feelgood's they told themselves and continued watching Chala-132 up on stage as she sang her own version of "So Sexy" and did a little dance. Daniella clobbered him with a hard left, then grabbed him by the collar, dragged him through the hallway, and handed him off to the bouncer out in the foyer. "You know what to do, Frank," she winked. "Thanks! I'll even share, if you like. He needs to sober up first, though." ***** Well...! Maybe Daniella really is a vampire. Or maybe it just sounds that way. And just who is the Doctor, anyway? The lighting in this was a bear. Kept getting all these weird shadows, but "light's a b***h and then you render" and suddenly, it works. Thanks for stopping by dear friends. Seems so quiet tonight. I hope you all have a marvelous weekend! Cheers, Ray Credits: Hat is Bowie model from SAV's freebie 'Famous Hats'. Shirt is from M4 Urbanwear, Hipster texture (DAZ). Excellent choice for the character of Doctor Feelgood! I can't rave about that enough. Awesome work capturing him in the act of gesturing too. You really took this storyline to the next level with this visual introduction and especially your text. Your delivery and development of this story seems so effortless and comfortable utilizing characters that are immediately strong, embraceable, and identifiable -- and especially fun! Always a pleasure! :)

Ah, most excellent! The Doctor looks pretty much as I imagined him :) Does he drive around in a Dragula? :) So, given the line up, is Frank a big dude with a flat-top head and bolts in his neck?? lol.

Really well done, Ray! I like the lighting - it gives this a nice, slightly ominous atmosphere - perfect for your story. I'll remember to mind my manners carefully if I go to a show at this theater! Yeah, lighting can be a real pain, but it's soooo important to communicate all the subtle bits, especially when telling a story. You've done very well here.
