In the year 2525, 325 years after the meteor that struck earth and killed the entire planet, leaving no sunlight for two hundred years. mankind new that day was coming from the observatorys, the US and other countries prepared for this dreaded day 75 years in advance by digging underground and building cities and glass dome farmlands, they all had enough to last a lifetime if need being.
Only military personel, goverment officials, and lottery drawn winnners for general public got to be chosen to survive the outcome. about 2 million worldwide made it.
The earth is 78% dry with dead lands, only 22% of lakes, oceans and vegetation land now exsist.
oxygen on the earth is thick and plenty. a steady orange atmosphere creeps across the globe daily, sunlight in most parts of the world is only about 180 days a year after the meteor.
Suppy ships that were bought from cyberdoc industries before the crash carry cargo and building supplies to rebuild on the surface again.
small meteors pass by a few times a month and sometimes strike with little force. military police are used to keep order with the public.
everybody works to earn their keep and rebuild above ground to form a new america.
The president of the new america is Mike Anderson, elected underground 2 years ago and will serve a 18 year term in office. his rebuilding will form and shape the new country.

Sad future for our planet, but very beautiful sci-fi story and picture. The background is wonderful and the girl has a stunning outfit. She's well armed and she doesn't look to be in kidding mood.

OMG....... Mike (eerson) Anderson as Prez? Hell, yeah - he's got my vote! LOL! And those Cyberdoc Industries ships are always very well stocked.... I'm not entirely sure what they're stocked with, but they're well stocked! A super sci-fi render, Steve! Excellent work, Bro - and I think you could do very well at writing a story!

AND if that ain't bad enough, you stuck me in charge for 18 years - damn bro, I would be 67 by the time I could do anything and with me being "the Man", I couldn't go out without thinking someone was gonna plug me - lol

nothing wrong with your writing my man-you left enough ideas in the few lines,that i could come up with a few scenes. just let me take a note. mike anderson president is not too bad ,guy seems correct,but we have to wait until he smells the npower and the money to see how he develops. will he stay integer?? or will he be swallowed. well governing is not easy in these dark times,and if you are a sheep amongst the wolves you get eaten up.so you must howl with them in a way. most inspiring to me. yes we can - meed eat sheed lol.
