Description

Captured 4/15/10, early AM, somewhere within the vast perimeter of the neighborhood. Don't bother to ZOOM; it comes out the same size. I've been going back into my archives for many of my flora postings lately, because, so far, 2012 has not been very rewarding in that area, especially with roses. Added to all this has been a very hot summer, which doesn't help the flowers much, except to hasten their demise. Shalom, and have a nice day.

What a lovely flower. Everytime I hear the word Amaryllis I think of Ron Howard in The Music Man. He played the young boy who couldn't pronounce that name.
