Description

Captured 10/6/12, early in the morning, within a city block of where I lay my head at night. A ZOOM would be most propitious. Water drops compliments of a sprinkler system. I've noticed an increase in the number of plumeria bushes/trees in the area, but most of the blooms are of the white and yellow kind, photos of which I have previously posted. Otherwise, there are some very colorful varieties in existence that I would like to see more of. Cheerio, and have a nice day.

Wow! Amazing colors and shot of these Plumeria, Harry. I see a lot less of them around here after our killer freezes a few years ago. I miss them.

A superb capture of these beautiful blooms. I love the intensity of the colour and the perfection of the bloom. I don't think this coloured one has the intensive smell of the cream and white ones though I'm only going by what my daughter said as they don't grow here.

has an almost painterly feel to it, with beautiful soft texture and light; and the way you've captured the curled ends of the petals makes them seem rich and thick. Beautiful piece. The background is dark, with rich deep greens (and some reds), which set off the flowers beautifully, and the blooms seem almost made for you, with their orange-tinged centers leading to open pinks and whites. Another beautiful capture of the simplicity and complexity of flowers. And beautifully set off by your perfect, dark background. You remain one of this sites masters of flowers of every type. This is beautiful.
