Description
...for Rainbows, I guess. One of those rare days when both Karen and I were off work, so we headed into North Wales. A little patch of Forestry Commission, only half an hours drive away.A packed lunch and a gentle stroll with some excellent views. My fave is a vantage point that looks down to the Dee Estuary, accross the Wirral to Liverpool (on a clear day).Weather today was overcast but not cold, and a brief shower led to this. The Rainbow actually came to ground in front of the trees on the left and slightly further down the slope on the right. The first time I've been so close to both ends of a rainbow.
On the home front, Father-in-Law is home again..Karen and I have agreed we'll stay till Monday and then we're definitely going home....unless!!!

We saw one of these just as clear as this out the kitchen window at the weekend. My wife loves rainbows. I hope your Father-in-Law continues in better health mate and you get to return to what is left of your son ravaged home :)

I can never manage a good rainbow shot. Very well done! And good luck with the Father in Law.

MY! That's a rarety to see a rain bow ground at both ends! And a very nice photo of it, too. One can practically see each end of the rain bow. Nice to hear father-in-law is home again. But, he may have another "home alone" reaction. But, as you say, you need to get home to another "home alone" individual (if home is still there. Ah, silly me!). Have a great week end, Neil! And keep up the good work! :-)

I have to echo Tryphon's comment above. Fabulous capture--and rare to get such.
