Description

It's turned out to be quite a week for weather... I was woken early this morning by the sound of fog horns on the Mersey. After breakfast I took F-in-L's dog for a walk in Central Park (Wallasey not New York, just in case you were wondering :-) Things certainly look different in the fog, I'm not sure if it was freezing fog or thoughts of John Carpenter but I was happy to get back to the warm house.... D-Day tomorrow, are we going home..? I'll let you know....

Mmmmm.... I remember walking home from high school in the thick San Francisco fog of the 1960s. It was like being wrapped in a vast blanket. I used to take my jacket off and enjoy the cool/cold air and moisture against my skin (much to my mother's great consternation about my health, which has never been better!). And the special light effects the fog gives to lamps, the moon, the sun, etc.... In this photo it looks like it's alive, radiating a light of its own. VERY nice photo, Neil! Thanks for posting this! Keep up the good work! :-)

Great image! It's always colder when you have fog in play. Thinking good thoughts on your problem.
