Description

Last time I picked up the camera was a couple weeks ago to image the pumpkins. Having said that, can you probably guess what this big dummy did? That's right, I left the ISO on 3200 and did not think to check it before running off some 160 images at Yosemite. Was heartbroken last night when transferring them to the PC. There really was some potential beauties. Had some great panoramic stitches planned from this spot. The late day was cooling down quick and where the sun had just been, ground fog now appeared, and with all the reflections in the river and the bright granite and blue sky.....Oh I could just kick myself sometimes. I heavily post worked this one shot in an effort to see what could be corrected. It's not pretty I know, was looking forward to these shots too. Hope two things come from this, one being I hope to have learned my lesson finally. Secondly, it gives me a reason to go back another snow fall. ;~) To the kind souls that leave their mark whether a comment, rating, or save the image as a fav, you are very much appreciated, thank you!!! Thank you all that viewed my last image below. thumb_2384825.jpg

Amazing, what a great mood and shine here, Dana. Impressing is that blue kind of mist over the water. A most special photo-shot!

I love this capture of this beautiful place and the reflections and ground fog give it an amazing feel. I'm sorry you missed out on all the captures that you took, a big disappointment for you.

Whatever you did wrong, you did a great job fixing it. This is outstanding!

You have my sympathies Dana, I have done that too many times. The ISO is a bit high as you say, but the shot is nice!
