Description

A shot taken a week ago on the way to Copenhagen. Had to remove some grain from it. Why there are so few trees, is becauce there is a lovely view to an inlet. People love to see water, so I guess it is a very expensive area, as it lets all see the water, because of the hill. FULL SIZE more details. Have a wonderful weekend. The weather felt extreemely cold today, but this evening it will begin to thaw over the south west area and little by little spread over the rest of Denmark, but the wind will still blow alot. Thank you for your always welcome viewing, commenting and fav to my previous post. :-)

This is such a different sort of area to where you are, Helle. Far fewer trees for a start. Very interesting to see this.

That's exactly how it works here too, a view of the water--any water--is worth doubling the home price, at least! Lovely capture with the snow!

I bet the views are lovely! They're probably all over there with binoculars, looking at the lady with the camera. :P

Chicago is the same way. Even if there's just a big puddle and not even a lake or a river or an inlet or anything, the price of real estate still goes up! Funny how that works! I really like this photo. It makes me think of paintings I've seen of people ice skating in Holland. This also makes me "feel" like I'm looking at a watercolor instead of a photograph, and I love the effect. It's such a crisp image and I love that it's summer houses, with snow!
