Hello !
My name is Helle. I live in Denmark on the Island, Zealand. I have a husband and two sons and three grandchildren, so I am a happy person.
I like many kinds of art and I try to limit myself, but I dont succeed very well. I love my PSP9 and I think I use it every day. I like to draw, paint and experiment on canvas or paper and I wish I had time do it every day. My biggest wish is, that there would be 48 hours instead of the poor 24 a day. I just dont think it will ever happen ;)
A fantastic new world opened for me, when I was Introduced to Renderosity for the first time. I am very grateful to be a part if this site.

Gosh! The simlest tasks can damage us so easily as we get past the 'First Flush of Youth'! Love the faces.

Now isn't that something so creative! I love looking at new types of foods like this, most inspiring, my Friend! I'm glad that you were able to have some time with your son cherishing and keeping alive the traditions of the family. Lovely composition, and I really like the way you presented this!

How interesting Helle, I haven't heard of peppernuts before, they are looking good, and I love the faces you made. What a pity you have hurt your wrist, you must rest it now and get well soon, and in time for Christmas. hugs Jane xx

When they said housework wouldn't hurt you they were wrong! Take it easy and enjoy the holidays, and let someone else wait on you.

My German grandfather used to make peppernuts at Christmas, and I loved them! This takes me back ... such fond memories. They look delicious, and I love your faces! Sorry to hear about your wrist, my friend. Take good care!

I'm sorry to hear about your wrist and hopefully it gets better soon. Is there something to put on it? A friend of mine swears by vodka: he has a bottle of it that he uses just for such an occasion. If he pulls a muscle, he puts vodka in a cooking pot and heats it up and then soaks a small washcloth in it and then uses the vodka soaked washcloth as a kind of bandage on the sore elbow or wrist or ankle, he says it works. I love these photos! The faces made me smile. I love happy food! I don't know what the dish is on the bottom. Are they the same kinds of peppernuts Tara described? They look marvelous and I'm sure they're delicious. I've never had them before, at least not that I know of. I must try them. I think there is something similar in Czech, but I cannot be sure. I especially like the hands working the dough with flower all over the fingers. That's something that I always enjoy: there's something particularly wonderful about making dough by hand. It can hurt your wrist, but I also think that it's something almost spiritual. I love baking, but I don't get to do very much of it. Hopefully, that can change. These are brilliant and they're very cozy and comfortable images. I hope your wrist is better soon!

Oh my, does this look great here, Helle. A baker in full action. So much fun making faces.(here we eat such cakes too, but no faces ;-)). I hope your wrist is better soon, did it happened with kneading the dough? Much strength, Helle; hoping the best for you to heal.
