Description

Looking North across the Stour on the dog walk, yesterday. Today is very different, WET. BTW there is an incidental Grey Heron in this shot...a bit like 'Where's Wally'!

I found the heron! :) For some reason, when Wally came to America, he changed his name to Waldo. One of life's little mysteries. Love the reflections! This is a beautiful spot.

A little bleak but still beautiful. And is that a bird's nest inthe tree on the right? Found the heron, he doesn't look incidental.

Herons are like that, they try to insert themselves into many different landscapes and dare us to find them! Wonderful shot of the Stour, I remember it well!

Quite a contrast between the arid desiccated flora around the river bank and the river, A.

Zooming in the Heron could not hide from me, LOL! A beautiful image, i love the trees. There is something about winter trees with their bones exposed that is just so beautiful. I love the subdued and muted colors of winter, anyway.

What a gorgeous nature shot Andrea. The colors, lighting and reflections are so crisp and beautiful. Found the nest first, then the little guy standing so still along the bank.
