Description
Captured back on 8/15/09, on the beautiful grounds of the beautiful Huntington Botanical Center and Conservatory, in beautiful San Marino, California.
Photos taken on my third visit that year to the Huntington. Top pic shows a ring consisting of colorful succulents at the entrance to the lovely Garden. Second has several Golden Barrel and some Saguaro cacti on display, third shot I don't know, and the bottom foto has African Milk Barrel (Euphorbia Horrida) from South Africa.
A ZOOM would be to your distinct advantage.

My favorite is image #2 for its' diversity. I noticed on image #2 upper left portion there is some kind of apparatus wrapped around the trunk of the Golden Barrel cacti? Lighting conditions on these photos are superb!

These are such beautifully clear and crisp captures of these interesting gardens, what a huge variety of plants. They look very spikey but still beautiful.

Fantastic collection of shots, Harry; number three looks to me like a huge bed of aloe vera. What a rich and surprisingly lush (for the plant types!) garden; I hope you were steady on your feet around all those pointy bits. Excellent photography all around!

Number 3 looks like Aloes. I especially like all the sedums and succulents in the first pic. What an awesome place.
