Description
On my way home from Grass Valley, Hwy 20. It's a main easy/west route that goes right across the middle of California. This is a flooded pasture west of Clear Lake; there'd been a lot of rain and I saw flooding everywhere. Clear Lake wasn't clear at all, though it never is!!
And yes, this is a drive by shooting, just held the camera out the window and hoped for the best!!

I saw the title to this and thought: "Yep...there she goes!" Then I had thoughts of you eventually arriving at the Redhead piano bar some time later. And then I looked at this shot! Driveby shots can be such fun, especially when it's one like this: something you can't actually repeat. I love the motion blur, but the crispness in the rearview/sideview mirror. The colors and the mood are amazing!

Distracted driving for sure, just don't do it too often, though we all do. The problem is that every person has their own type of distraction and they do cause accidents once in a while.

I have a lot of such captures though they were taken from inside a semi through the front window covered in bug splatters and don't look nowhere as good as this capture..lol...I like that you captured the side mirror as it gives even more to what was already a wonderful shot. ~smiles~
