WOW! This has both an amazing level of rust, and an amazing level of some of that Flash Gordon business going on. This is so incredibly brilliant, fun, elegant, and just flat out good! I like this a lot!

Wow! What a find! I can't decide if it's just a bit of super-modern elegant decor or if it's meant to be a stylized spatula...probably not the latter, eh? At any rate, love the design, and of course that spread of rust!

I loved the time when hood ornaments reigned.. Now of course, in our PC ruled world, not going to happen again... Super shot of a time gone by.. Rob

Cool shot even though it has seen better days. It would look great when it was lit up.

Since I love all things rusty and automotive, this hits the jackpot for me. Composition is spot-on. All the owner has to do is to remove the hood and soak it in Coca Cola or vinegar overnight and he'd be in business.

I would have guessed that the ornament was from a Pontiac... the indian chief's head dress. Thanks for posting.

I love those old hood ornaments.... I really wish they'd bring them back. Designers of cars had a real sense of style back in those days... A beautiful shot, Tara! I love the ornament and I love the rusty texture of the hood.
