used to have many of them some alot older. i still have a few origianl glass seals that go onto jar like this.

I seen at a store a goblet but made like a canning jar with a stem. the canning screw lid seemed out of place when I was a kid these were like gold. my mother would can fruits that was given to us along with other things

I love the old-skool lock mechanism on these =D I used to have a couple myself but they got lost in the many shuffles of residence I've had over the years. Great capture, my friend, very cool to see the before shot!
