Hi, I'm Andrea, and I'm interested in creatures and plants both wild and tamed, and people of all sorts. I only use a compact digital camera ,as I love being able to get it into a back pocket, and not have to cart heavy kit about. I carry a Panasonic Lumix TZ series, binoculars and a hand lens almost everywhere. Most of my outings are with the dogs so I only use point and shoot.
I am getting the hang of Photoshop, thanks to some very kind folk on RR!Â
I have a wildlife garden in Bournemouth, Dorset, in the UK, and spend a lot of time there . I retired from teaching art to teenagers a while ago.
I'm now getting some good results with my digi compacts; it took me a while to make the switch from my old film camera, an 1960 ish Pentax Spotmatic, but the mistakes are much cheaper! Â
I have 4 lodgers, 3 dogs and a parrot who, as at 2017, I have had 40 years.
I has so far had 19 dogs, mostly rescues.

I'm amazed how many types of perfume you seem to find. I honestly never knew they had this many types or that the bottles were so intricately made.

Awesome setup and presentation Andrea. Aw the fruit scents sound so attractive. Stunning postwork on the other version.

Your collection of perfumes reminds me of the one episode of NCIS where Abby bought hundreds of bottles of perfume Great capture from the listing of what is in here, you might want to wear this in the dead of winter, elsewise you'll be finding every pollinating insect in the world attracted to you

Mike reminds me ... I used to use lavender shampoo, but had to switch during the summer. The bees that were hovering around my lavender plants thought I was pretty irresistable, and tried to polinate my head every time I went out in the garden. I like the yellow background with the purple and clear bottle. VERY nice combination! The descriptions of purfumes so often leave me agape. What, I wonder, is the difference in scent between a mandarin and a blood orange?
Katraz
It sounds like a fruit trifle. and the description sounds like a waffle.

What everyone preceding me above said.

You manage to capture the very essence of these perfumes in these lovely captures.

Your read my mind. I thought the writeup sounded like a fruit salad. Big laugh at Tara's comment. You do these so well. I really like what you did with the post worked background.
jocko500
the shapes is wonderful and the lighting is spot on

You know, you do these shots so well; seems like you could freelance as an ad photographer!

This is very special!

Four purple hearts in one! (or should I say mauve?) another one to keep in mind, for some sampling! - as long as it doesn't have too much of a musky pong, the only smell I have never been so keen on - but I am sure you know, what would make a dazzling combination. I read somewhere: 'The perfumes we use for ourselves are an emotional choice' "Perfume is a liquid emotion" - I couldn't have said better myself ;P BB

Both fine photos but the FlickR version has the better POV and clarity. I like the postworked background over there also.
