Description

due to where I work and the time(s) that I get to work, it is not always possible to get the best spot to capture sunrises or sunsets so you take what you get. In this case, I think the wires and signs and the cars going by add to the event rather than subtract from it. I hope you enjoy this picture. I haven't really felt all that great the last almost full week - been fighting a quick acting, hard-hitting cold that travelled from my sinuses down to my chest and laid me out. I will be going back to work tomorrow. Take care and thanks for the comments and faves

A sunset/sunrise can look boring but as you say this image looks better not being a blank sky. Hope you feel better soon Mike.

It does add a certain sense of time and place to the sunrise that is unmistakeably 'rural', like a road-trip sunrise. Very nice capture, Mike! I do hope you are feeling fit again real soon hon!!

It's gorgeous; my eyes tend to seek out what I like and ignore what I don't, and the wires make a sort of gridwork frame for that lovely sky. What Burger King? I hope you feel better soon!

to me, why all the wires and streets spe works is because it all serves to accentuate the immensity and grandeur of the sky and the breathtaking sunrise. A stunning capture Mike, and a marvelous composition.
