Description

due to where I work and the time(s) that I get to work, it is not always possible to get the best spot to capture sunrises or sunsets so you take what you get. In this case, I think the wires and signs and the cars going by add to the event rather than subtract from it. I hope you enjoy this picture. I haven't really felt all that great the last almost full week - been fighting a quick acting, hard-hitting cold that travelled from my sinuses down to my chest and laid me out. I will be going back to work tomorrow. Take care and thanks for the comments and faves

Great capture Mike and it is probably not too often that you see sunrises like that. Hope you get over your bug. You sure it is not the flu?

Beautiful sky. The accessories give it a certain "big sky" look. You're on the road from somewhere to somewhere else and you step out of your motel room in the early morning and there it is.

Wonderful! At least you get to see them; I have to live vicariously through yours Mike. I can't remember the last sunrise I saw as I'm often hitting the sack just a couple of hours before the event, LOL!

It is beautiful, Mike and it's a scene that is very valuable, because the landscape doesn't remain the same always . Brands Changes , businesses close, buildings and houses are built, wires dissapear.

There is nothing at all wrong with this sky mate, its stunning! Shame about the wires but then, I have noticed that in the US they run most above ground and here in the UK allot are under ground, so that is the only shame AND not your fault at all.. Nice one Mike. Rob

Fantastic capture and motif, Mike. Lotta crossing wires there. But still a very beautiful sky and horizon.

Well my friend, this really is a very surprising photo for me. I admire in the first place your sky-capture, but I also am excited about seeing 'The Burger King', and 'Chevron'. That is so different from what we see here beside the roads. Yeah, this is USA to me! Thank you a lot, Mike; and I sure hope you will feel 100 percent better by now!
