Description

It felt very chilly in Bill's room, but he pulled the blanket off anyway. Some strange power seemed to be controlling him. He got out of bed and slowly walked over to the door. It swung open for him without his even touching it. Down the dark hallway he walked and walked and walked till he came to another open door. This led down a long spiral staircase. At the bottom it opened up into another hallway. He walked and walked some more in the dark till dimly up ahead, he perceived a candle light. He approached the candle light. Closer and closer! Closer and closer! Suddenly, there was a dark figure in a robe standing by the candle. He approached the figure. In the dim light, it was difficult to make out any features at first. As he drew closer, he realized it was Jeeves, the butler. He was dimly aware that the pendant around his kneck was glowing a sickly red. He couldn't figure out why that was. It didn't seem to make any sense. Then he was right beside Jeeves. Jeeves was talking to him, but he didn't understand the language. He felt the blood suddenly rush throughout his body has his heart began to quicken it's pace. Slowly, ever so slowly, Jeeves moved closer to him, still mumbling in a strange tongue. Jeeves grabbed him by the shoulders. Jeeves was holding him tightly. Jeeves face was coming closer! Closer! Then it glanced off to his side. He felt his head pushed to one side as if to expose his neck better. There was a cold breath on his neck. He felt a slight chill as of something dripped onto his neck from somewhere. He could feel something pressing into his neck. He wanted to scream but couldn't. It pressed more firmly, more insistanly, more steadily! Suddenly, Bill awoke with a start and sat up in his bed. He was sweating profusely as he looked around his room. There was no one there! Thank you for taking a peek! Your support is greatly appreciated!
