Description
Back to the 50 acre Wakodahatchee Wetlands for a peek at a Great Blue Heron. S/he can grow up to 46 inches (117 cm) tall with a wing span of 72 inches (183 cm). They should be building nests right about now and laying eggs very soon. A very beautiful, graceful and majestic bird. I completed my federal taxes today and will not have time to comment. Catching up tomorrow. An older photo taken with my old Minolta. Zoom will work.

Great shot, the ones in the UK look very much like yours but are very wary and don't let you get very close.
